It's Green! OK, hold onto your Disco Balls! I dug out some dusty early 80's stuff. Some of you remember the group Lime (out of Montreal, Canada). Well, here you go! A Lime Mix! Had a ball doing this one (brought back lots of memories). But forgot how these old recordings don't follow pitch very well. A few of the mixes had me sweating! No Stress

No Stress! After a long day, I had an hour to decompress. so I mixed a bunch of stuff together. Bits and Pieces, all kind of stuff. Even a mini train wreck at around 10 mins. but no stress

This first one is a BIG one. 3.5 hours long at almost 200 meg. This is simply a song list, mixed one song after another, perfect to just play at a party. Nothing fancy, like I said, I just started getting back into things. Previous Page | |
About DJDJ Odyssey started in the early 80's and did that for over 15 years, begining in the days of Disco Viva, and the Limelight in Montreal, he also went through the "era" of Le Globe, Le Ruisseau, Tabasco Night Club (later Le Zap and Helium), Le Vogue, Chez Henri, Shalimars and JR Dallas. Having gone through the various types of music from Disco through Dance, Club, Techno, House, Rock, etc... he acquired a broad taste in music, but settled on Club, Dance and House as his favourite style. He ran three successful and quite large disc jockey companies in Ottawa as well as performing in various clubs in and around the area from The Squire Club, Oliver's Pub The Blue Room, Fonzie's Dance Bar as well as Le Manoir Du Lac Simon. Looking in on him at one of these venues, you would regularly see vinyl flying high as he would perform live mashups. On more than one occasion he was also asked to perform live remixes on Energy 1200 radio. While holding a regular daytime job, he would perform 3 to 4 nights a week as well as weekends. He then stopped and settled down, somewhat :) He has recently restarted spinning again, bringing you the music that makes you dance, including a new residency at www.danceradio.ca live on Wednesday nights 8pm to 10pm Eastern time. If it's got a beat, it's gotta be played! Available for guest appearences, radio mixes, etc... If a mix has been taken offline or archived, and you would like it back, let me know.
